Before I start, this is not a generalization nor is it a description of  the people’s personalities or minds, it’s only a sample, and I’m not trying to be all that and judgmental, Im just stating my observation. Again, not a generalization. 

Case Study: The Avenues Mall. 

I haven’t been to Avenues in 9 months and wasn’t planning on going at all during my month here in Kuwait .. It seems like a lot is on display and I don’t mean those on shop display windows. 

1) People stare at each other like they’ve stolen their joy and glory. 
2) People sit with other people but have a better interest in the people across the other peoples table. 
3) People BBing each other to “please shoofay the aliens illi warach” aka girls with 7jabat taller than the Empire State. 
4) Walking at a 0.2 second pace eyeing you on the corner of their eye. 
5) Screening you’re every inch.

That being said, I’m off to ilshalai.. Peace.

This is a bit late, but nothing shows that spring is here as much as blooming flowers! A few months ago, I was taking a walk and saw a small, well kept garden with beautiful blossoming roses. I remembered those roses today as I was sitting indoors looking at the orange dusty sky. I miss my second home, with its cool breezes, blue skies, and bright green grass!

I have been getting pain in my stomach for a few months now. When I first went to see a doctor about it, I was told that it could be hyper acidity due to stress. I was given pills to take to help with the pain. However, I realized this wasn’t the right solution as I wasn’t stressed, but the pain has not subsided. It would be a dull pain through out the day, but get worse at night, waking me up from my sleep.

Being free right now, I decided to go see what was the problem. The doctor I went to told me to do a Urea Breath Test to see whether the pain was because of an infection in the stomach due to bacteria. First, I had to breath into a bag, and then drink a solution. After 30 minutes, I had to breath into another bag so the two can be compared. The test turned out positive, and now I have been prescribed so many pills for the next two weeks! I hate pills, but inshallah this will help eliminate the stomach pains!

T916 and I HATE studying!

It’s finals week: rainy and gloomy outside, perfect weather for hot chocolate and a good movie, but alas, we are stuck in our ugly university library studying and writing unnecessary 20+ page papers! One more week!!

Ok, enough procrastinating. Time to get back to work!
