This is a show I stumbled upon last night, and I am so glad I did. The show is set in the fictional Battlestar Galactica universe. It is a prequel set 58 years before the events of Battlestar Galatica. The show tells the story of how Colonial humanity first created the robotic Cylons, who would later plot to destroy human civilization in retaliation for their enslavement. Even if you are not a fan of Battlestar Galatica, or know of the events that happened in the show, you should check it out, as Caprica has a completely different feel to it. So far, it seems like it will be a very cool show!

For already Battlestar Galatica fans, William Adama is a child at the time of Caprica’s events. In the act of terrorism that sets the story in motion, he loses mother and sister.

The first episode was aired exclusively online, with the show planning to be broadcasted on Jan 22, 2011
