An adaption of Peter Pan is being performed in Kensington Gardens this summer, and we were able able to get tickets to see the production. I am a huge fan of Peter Pan: being able to fly, going off to Never Neverland, meeting fairies and mermaids, and battling pirates was always exciting as a kid! Honestly, it still is for me! I was looking forward to the show tremendously and how it would portray the different parts of the story.

Arriving at the park, I was quite impressed with the tent they had set up. The circus-like arena gave everyone excellent views of the stage in the middle. In addition, the play used innovative 3D technology that made it all that more fun to watch. When Peter Pan, Wendy, Micheal, and John flew to Neverland, it felt like the audience was flying with them through London. If you look at the small details, you would notice how simple the play is, but I think that just added to it. For example, how the crocodile’s exterior was made from clothe hangers, which is genius! Overall, I enjoyed the show! I thought it was an excellent adaption of Peter Pan and being in Kensington Gardens only added a more magically sense to the whole show!

If you are in London, do try to attend, as it is only being played this summer!
